Goodin, Housekeeper bring home first place honors as Williamsburg places second in the Class A Boys’ State Track and Field Meet

LEXINGTON — Williamsburg High School’s boys’ track and field team turned in state runner-up honors during the Class A Boys’ State Track and Field Meet with 46 points, finishing only seven points behind state champion Louisville Collegiate, who finished with 53 points.
Nate Goodin and Zyler Housekeeper both captured state championships with Goodin placing first in the High Jump (6-2) while Housekeeper finished first in Pole Vault (13-0).
On the girls’ side, the Lady Yellow Jackets placed 41st with one point.
Tatum Croley had Williamsburg’s top finish, placing eighth in the 3200 Meter Run.
