NICHOLASVILLE — South Laurel’s turned in a runner-up finish during the Class 3A, Region 7 Girls’ track and Field Meet while North Laurel placed eighth.
The Lady Cardinals totaled 93.5 points while capturing first place finishes in the 4×400 Meter Relay and the 4×800 Meter Relay.
The Lady Jaguars finished with 15 points, Haiden Moses’ second place effort in the Pole Vault event turned out to be North Laurel’s top placement.
