Howard’s 14 Ks help Pineville to knock off Lynn Camp

PINEVILLE — Behind another dominating pitching effort from Rachel Howard, Pineville secured the another 51st District win with an 11-1 victory over Lynn Camp.

Howard was in dominating fashion, allowing only one hit in five innings of work while finishing with 14 strikeouts.

Pineville (12-4) put the game away in the first inning, scoring eight runs as Rayanna Maidon turned in a two-hit, two RBI effort while Howard also drove in two runs. Baileigh Bargo-Vaughn delivered two hits and an RBI while Jaycee Caldwell, and Isabella Adams had run-scoring hits.

Lily Henize delivered the Lady Wildcats’ (7-13) lone hit while scoring once.
