CORBIN — The Corbin Redhounds moved to 12-9 overall, and 3-1 in 50th District play after picking up two wins (16-1, and 19-1) over Williamsburg on Tuesday.
Game One
Corbin 16, Williamsburg 1
Kade Elam continued his red-hot play, going 3-for-3 at the plate with five RBI, and two runs scored during Corbin’s 16-1 win over Williamsburg.
Lucas Tarvin went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, and two runs scored while Trey Person finished 2-for-2 with three RBI, and two runs scored.
Cruz Cima got the win, pitching three hitless innings while allowing one earned run. He also struck out five batters.
Game Two
Corbin 19, Williamsburg 1
Ethan Abner got the win, allowing three hits and one earned run to help guide Corbin to a 19-1 win over Williamsburg.
Kade Elam went 2-for-2 with two triples, two RBI, and two runs scored while Noah Cima had two hits, three RBI, and two runs scored. Cam Estep had a hit, three RBI and two runs scored while Levi Brock finished with a hit, three RBI, and two runs scored. Kaiden Freeman and Trey Person also connected with run-scoring hits.
