Alivia Hoskins comes up huge at the plate during Clay County’s 14-0 win over Lynn Camp

CORBIN — Clay County notched its fourth win of the season, taking advantage of four errors to knock off the Lady Wildcats, 14-0.

Clay County pitchers Abby Bowling, Presley Griffin, and Maddie Craft combined to limit Lynn Camp (6-9) to four hits while tallying eight strikeouts.

Bowling got the win, tossing three innings, allowing one hit while striking out six batters.

Clay County scored three runs in the first inning, and never looked back while adding four runs in the second inning, three runs in the third inning, and four runs in the fourth inning.

Alivia Hoskins came up huge at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored. Madison Sizemore, Ella Mathis, Anna Samples, Rylee Lewis, Ryleigh Chestnut, Sydney Stewart, and Griffin each delivered run—scoring hits for the Lady Tigers.

Lily Henize, Madison Weymers, Cambree Prewitt, and Emma Burnette each had a hit apiece for Lynn Camp.
