Wayne County no-hits Yellow Jackets during 14-0 win

MONTICELLO — Williamsburg dropped its eight game in a row, falling to 1-11 as Wayne County no-hit the Yellow Jackets during its 14-0 win.

The Cardinals jumped on Williamsburg early, scoring five runs in the first inning before adding six runs in the second inning. Wayne County put the finishing touches on its win with two runs in the third inning and a run in the fourth inning.

The Yellow Jackets managed three baserunners the entire game.

Brydon Moore took the loss on the mound, allowing 11 hits and 12 earned runs. He struck out three batters.
