SOMERSET — Whitley County dropped its second game in a row, falling to Somerset, 4-0, on the road Thursday.
The Lady Colonels (7-11) were no-hit and only had six baserunners the entire game.
The game was scoreless until the third inning when the Lady Briar Jumpers pushed two runs across in the bottom of the third. Somerset added two runs in the bottom of the fifth to secure the win.
Caylee Singleton took the loss in the circle, allowing four hits, and four earned runs while striking out four batters.
