LONDON — Cameron Smith’s big day at the plate helped guide North Laurel to a 4-3 win in eight innings over Tates Creek on Thursday.
Smith delivered a home run, and two doubles while going 3-for-4 at the plate, finishing the game with three RBI, and a run scored.
Carter Kelley also had three hits, scoring twice while Ashton Napier drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth with a perfectly played down bunt.
North Laurel (3-4) used four pitchers in the one-run win, as Cam Hinkle got the victory, tossing the final two innings while allowing only one hit, and no runs.
