HARLAN — Addison Jackson’s home run ignited a six-run rally in the sixth inning as Harlan defeated Middlesboro in 52nd District action, 9-6.
Jackson finished the game with two hits, two RBI, and one run scored while Ella Farley was 3-for-4 with two RBI, and a run scored. Abbi Fields delivered two hits while Addison Campbell finished with a hit, an RBI, and a run scored. Ella Lisenbee had a hit and two RBI while Gracie Hensley finished with a hit and two runs scored. Ava Nunez had a hit and one run scored while Jordyn Smith finished with an RBI and a run scored.
Smith got the win, allowing 12 hits and two earned runs. She finished with six strikeouts.
