HARLAN — The defending 13th Region champion Harlan County Black Bears will have an opportunity to repeat as region champs next week at The Corbin Arena after handing Harlan a 68-49 loss during semifinal action of the 52nd District Tournament on Tuesday.
The Black Bears received another impressive effort by Maddox Huff, who scored 33 points while hitting four 3-pointers and going 9-of-10 from the free-throw line. Reggie Cottrell added 15 points while Brennan Blevins scored seven points. Brody Napier and Jaycee Carter added five points apiece.
Kobe Noe led the Green Dragons with 22 points while Dylan Cox added 11 points and Ethan Huff scored 10 points.
