Lady Wildcats finish regular season play with 65-44 loss to Mount Pisgah Christian Academy

CORBIN — Even with a 65-44 loss to Mount Pisgah Christian Academy on Friday, Lynn Camp coach James Prewitt admitted he could see the improvement his young Lady Wildcats continue to make.

“This team has grown this year,” he said. “Our record doesn’t reflect how much we have improved. There are  a few hurdles that we struggled to overcome this year, but overall we got better all season long.”

“Mt. Pisgah is a really good basketball team,” Prewitt added. “I give Coach Walls and his staff a lot of credit. His daughter is a phenomenal basketball player and his entire team is fundamental sound with a high basketball IQ.”

The loss dropped Lynn Camp to 7-15, as Lauren Partin led the Lady Wildcats with 14 points while Jayden Petrey added 13 points.
