MANCHESTER — Larry Gritton’s Oneida Baptist Mountaineers improved to 13-11 after recording a 58-51 win over Middlesboro on Thursday,

Dennis Esemuede had a huge game, finishing with 18 points, eight rebounds and three blocks while Skyler Roberts had 15 points, and Jacob Rogers tallied 14 points, seven rebounds, and five assists

“Credit to Coach Wheat and his kids,” Gritton said. “They had a great game plan and made it difficult for us all night. I am proud of my kids for battling through and doing what had to be done to secure the win, but we will have to play better moving forward with what’s left on our schedule in order to give ourselves a chance to be a factor in the 49th District Tournament.”
