CORBIN — Isaac Wilson’s Corbin Lady Redhounds improved to 16-7 after handing Madison Southern a 65-59 loss on Monday.
“Any time you can get a win at home,” Wilson said. “It’s a good night. We are still struggling quite a bit and a few aspects of the game, which is frustrating at times for not only us coaches, but our players as well, but we are still continuing to find a way to win And grind it out, even when things aren’t going the best.”
With only four games remaining, including a matchup with No. 8 North Laurel on Thursday, Wilson hopes his team can continue to build momentum entering the postseason play.
“We find ourselves with four games left in this regular season and it is our jobs to continue to improve in every area that we can if we are to make a postseason push this season,” he said. “We must get back to some things that we were doing well early in the season and that can really help us push forward in these last few games and in preparation for the postseason.”
