PINEVILLE — Bell County’s Kairi Lamb scored her 1,000th career point and pulled down her 1,000th career rebound during the Lady Bobcats’ 64-43 win over Leslie County on Friday.
Lauren McGeorge led the way with 23 points while Lamb added 19 points in the win.
“Good road win for our basketball team,” Bell County coach David Teague said. “Very proud of the way our kids battled and the way we fought defensively. We played through some foul trouble and I was pleased with kids stepping up off the bench and giving some good minutes. Back at it again tomorrow at Clay County in the Donnie Gray Shootout against Dunbar.”
