WILLIAMSBURG — Isaac Wilson’s Corbin Lady Redhounds improved to 15-7 and 3-3 in 50th District play with a 95-18 win over Williamsburg.
The loss dropped the Lady Yellow Jackets to 6-14 and 0-5.
Twelve players scored for Corbin, who was led by Kylie Clem’s 31 points. Lydia King added 15 points while Addy Wilson scored 11 points.
Abby Moses and Braylee Evans led Williamsburg with five points apiece.
“Tonight was a good start as we focus on giving ourselves a fresh start for the end of the season,” Wilson said. “We have been through many ups and downs up until this point and we understand that each game we are given an opportunity to continue to improve.
“I thought our kids did well with that mindset tonight and we made the most of the minutes we were given to work on us,” he added. “Everyone wants to be playing their best basketball come the end of the season and that is something that we will continue to focus on in these closing weeks of the regular season.”
