MONTICELLO — After beginning the season with a 6-6 start, the Whitley County Lady Colonels have now lost 11 straight games.
David Halcomb’s squad fell behind 11-0 after the first two innings of play, and never recovered during their 13-2 loss to Southwestern,
Whitley County (6-17) managed to push across a run in the third and fifth innings but couldn’t do any more damage.
Jazlynn Brown had her team’s lone RBI while also connecting with a hit. Olivia Anderson, Katelyn Shepherd, Payton Hurst, and Mia Prewitt also had a hit apiece.
