MIDDLESBORO — Adyson Scott set the tone in the circle and at the plate while Bell County’s lineup erupted for 19 hits in a 13-6 win over Middlesboro on Tuesday.
Scott went 2-for-5 with an RBI and also picked up the win in the circle, tossing a complete game while allowing six runs (two earned) on six hits with three strikeouts.
Triston Saylor sparked the offense with a big night, finishing 3-for-5 with three runs scored while Kenley Foster drove in three runs on a 3-for-5 performance. Jayda Boateng added a 2-for-5 effort with three RBI. Brylee Redmond had two hits, and two RBI while Raegahn Moyers chipped in two hits and two runs scored. Addison Maiden also had a multi-hit performance while scoring twice and driving in a run.
The Lady Bobcats (4-1) jumped out early with two runs in the first and continued to apply pressure, scoring in five different innings. A four-run third inning helped create separation, and Bell County never looked back.
