North Laurel alumni Savannah Philpot and Gabe Claybrook are in New Orleans representing Western Kentucky University in the 2025 New Orleans Bowl. Philpot serves as the Lead Student Photographer for WKU Athletics and will be on the sidelines capturing photos of the game.
Claybrook continues his football career with the Hilltoppers as an offensive lineman, wearing jersey #68, and is expected to see action in the bowl matchup.
Western Kentucky University will take on Southern Miss in the New Orleans Bowl on December 23, 2025, with kickoff scheduled for 5:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
