LOUISVILLE — Bell County’s season came to an end on Friday, falling 56-20, during its Class 4A, State Semifinal matchup with three-time defending state champion Christian Academy of Louisville (CAL).
The Centurions (14-0) scored early and often against the Bobcats (12-2), taking a 21-0 lead into the second quarter, and never looking back.
CAL put the running clock in action late in the third quarter after taking a 49-12 advantage to wrap-up the win.
The Centurions will attempt to capture their fourth straight Class 4A title next week. They’ll enter the state title game riding a 21-game win streak and a 19-game postseason win streak.
