PINEVILLE — Dudley Hilton’s Bell County Bobcats are moving on after recording an easy, 43-14, win over Knox Central during second round action of the Class 3A playoffs.
An interception by Blake Burnett set up Kaleb Miller’s 56-yard touchdown run as the Bobcats raced to an 8-0 lead and never looked back.
An interception by Cayden Huff led to Miller’s second touchdown run, a 15-yarder while Nathaniel Saylor’s 61-yard touchdown run pushed Bell County’s lead to 22-0 in the first quarter.
Saylor added another touchdown run while Logan Greene scored from one-yard out in the win. Miller closed out the scoring for the Bobcats with his third touchdown of the game.
Bell County will host Lawrence County next week.
