The Bobcats had no trouble handing Powell County a 44-0 loss during first round action of the Class 3A playoffs on Friday.
The Bobcats established their ground attack in the first quarter and Powell County had no answer to stop it.
Bell County improved to 10-1 with the win and will face-off against Knox Central at home next week.
Knox Central 28, Letcher Central 27
The Panthers went on the road and stunned Letcher Central with a 28-27 win during first round action of the Class 3A playoffs on Friday.
The two teams battled back and forth throughout with Knox Central trailing 21-20 before taking a 28-21 edge.
Letcher Central scored to cut its deficit to 28-27 but the Panther defense rose to the occasion.
Knox Central will travel to play Bell County next week.
Wayne County 26, Harlan County 2
The Black Bears was stunned at home, dropping a 26-2 decision to Wayne County.
The Black Bears finish the season with a 7-4 record.
