LONDON — The Corbin Lady Redhounds continued their dominance over South Laurel on Tuesday, rolling to a 25-11, 25-15, 25-15 victory in straight sets.
“I’m really proud of our girls for staying focused and playing together on the road tonight,” Corbin coach Krystal Jones said. “Anytime you can come away with a district win, it’s a good night. We’ll keep working and building as a team. Back in the gym tomorrow for practice, then we’re off to Owensboro for 2A.”
With the win, Corbin pushed its win streak over the Lady Cardinals to 18 games, a stretch that dates back to October 1, 2018 — the last time South Laurel came out on top in the rivalry.
The Lady Redhounds improved to 14-5 on the season while South Laurel slipped to 5-10.
