LONDON — Three goals by senior Haley Combs led North Laurel to a 3-2 win over Green County on Saturday while snapping a three-game losing skid during the process.
The Lady Jaguars are now 2-3 and will be off until September 9.
“Much, much-needed win today,” North Laurel coach Kaylan Bargo said. “We’re starting to get back to ourselves. We moved the ball well today and played together.
“We stay composed and fought from start to finish to earn this,” she added. “I’m proud of how we supported each other and carried out the game plan. Glad to get back on the winning side of things. The best is yet to come for this team.”
