WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg suffered a 26-24 loss in the first set to McCreary Central before reeling off three consecutive set victories (25-23, 25-17, 25-20) to defeat the Lady Raiders on Tuesday, 3-1.
“We played another quality team tonight with McCreary Central,” Williamsburg coach Dirk Berta said. “I love the way our team responded, especially after the first set. Tonight was a total team effort; passing, serving, talking, defense, and offense. All facets of the game together for us tonight. We will get back at practice tomorrow and work on a few things to get ready for another quality opponent in CHAT on Thursday. As always, Go Jackets.”
