WILLIAMSBURG — The Corbin girls’ track and field team turned in a second place effort with 139 points during the Class 2A, Region 5 Track and Field Meet.
The Lady Redhounds turned in six first place efforts with Hadley Elmore winning in the Pole Vault and 800 Meter Run. Hartlee aboard placed first in the 400 Meter Dash while Emma Massengill won the 3100 Meter Run. Mason Elam finishes first in the 100 meter hurdles while Kylie Clem took home first place honors in the 300 meter hurdles.
Whitley County finished 10th overall with three points as Aliya Nugent turned in the Lady Colonels’ best effort, finishing fifth in the Long Jump.
