Lady Cardinals can’t hold off Boyle County in 5-4 loss 

LONDON — South Laurel fought back from a 3-0 deficit and built a 4-3 lead, only to see Boyle County rally for a 5-4 win on Monday.

The Lady Cardinals (7-3) led 4-3 entering the sixth inning before seeing the Lady Rebels scored two runs to pick up the one-run victory.

Bailey Frazier connected with a home run, finishing with two hits, one RBI, and two runs scored while Skye Lawson had a hit, and three RBI. Morgan Jackson had a hit, and scored once while Addison Baker scored a run.

Kenzie Williams took the loss in the circle, allowing seven hits, and three earned runs while striking out 12 batters.

South Laurel committed two errors which led to two unearned runs.
