MYRTLE BEACH, SC — North Laurel fell to 4-6 after suffering a 14-0 setback to Boyd County.
The Jaguars were limited to one hit while committing four errors that led to four unearned runs.
The game was scoreless after the first inning before the Lions got hot at the plate, scoring two runs in the second inning, three runs in the third, seven in the fourth, and two in the fifth.
Eli Holt was the lone North Laurel player to get a hit.
Colton Stewart took the loss, lasting three innings, allowing eight hits, and three earned runs while striking out a batter. Zac Johnston tossed the final two innings, giving up five hits, and seven earned runs while striking out two batters.
