LEXINGTON — The Williamsburg boys’ track and field team turned in a stellar effort during Wednesday’s 2025 KHSAA Indoor Track and Field Class A Boys’ State Championships.
Williamsburg placed third overall, finishing with 50 points, just six points away from first place.
Nate Goodin captured state championships in the High Jump and Long Jump events while Lane Jeffries won the state championship in the Trople Jump event. Zyler Housekeeper turned in a second place effort in the Pole Vault event.
Goodin won the High Jump event with a jump of 6-0 while capturing state championship honors in the Long Jump event with a jump of 20-10.50.
Jeffries’ triple jump championship came thanks to a 42-0.50 jump while Hoseukeeper’s runner-up finish in Pole Vault came via an 11-6 effort.
