Girls’ 13th Region Tournament could have some interesting first round matchups 

CORBIN — The stage is set for the 13th Region Girls’ Basketball Tournament with all eight teams now ready to see who they will draw Saturday morning.

Host Bell County will have the regional meeting beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday which will also include both the boys’ and girls’ draws.

The girls’ tournament will tip-off first on Monday and Tuesday before the boys’ tournament begins on Wednesday and Thursday. Girls’ semifinal action will be on Friday while boys’ semifinal action will take place Saturday in the early session while the girls’ championship game will tip-off Saturday evening.

The boys’ championship game will be played Monday, March 10. 

Game times of each days’ games will be released when the draws take place on Saturday.
