Yellow Jackets snap three-game losing skid

WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg snapped a three-game losing skid, improving to 13-8, thanks to an easy 85-35 win over the Knoxville Ambassadors on Thursday.

Led by Nate Goodin’s 21 points, the Yellow Jackets built a 24-8 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.

Lakin Cunagin added 18 points while Andrew Smith and Mason Rountree scored eight points apiece.

“Feels good to get back in the win column,” Williamsburg coach Anthony Hibbard said. “Proud of our guys’ effort tonight, especially considering we had several guys contribute. With district right around the corner, we hope to build some momentum with the last portion of our schedule.”
