Redhounds get back on track, hand Alabama’s Hamilton High School 33-point loss

GATLINBURG, TENN. — The Corbin Redhounds got back to their winning ways on Friday, tallying 83 points en route to their 33-point win over Alabama’s Hamilton High School.

The Redhounds (5-3) jumped out to a 15-6 lead in the first quarter, and never looked back during their 83-50 win.

“Nice bounce back win today,” Corbin coach Tony Pietrowski said. “Happy with the way we responded. We shared the ball well and guard solid in stretches. Excited to get some down time this evening and enjoy some time together. Back in action tomorrow at 1 p.m. against University School of Nashville.”

Corbin built a 36-20 advantage at halftime before taking a 61-39 lead into the fourth quarter. 

Four players scored in double figures for the Redhounds with Eli Pietrowski scoring a team-best 19 points. He also hit four 3-pointers. Connor Middleton added 15 points while Ryder Akins finished with 14 points. Conner Blackburn hit three 3-pointers, finishing with 13 points.
