CORBIN — Krystal Jones’ Corbin Lady Redhounds wrapped up 50th District regular season play with an easy three set win over Williamsburg.
Corbin took control from the get-go, and never looked back, winning, 25-12, 25-8, and 25-14.
The win improved the Lady Redhounds to 22-5 overall, 12-0 against 13th Region teams and 6-0 against 50th District opponents.
The loss dropped the Lady Yellow Jackets to 15-11 overall, and 2-4 against district opponents.
“Tonight, our girls came out with focus,” Jones said. “I couldn’t be prouder of how they executed and supported each other on the court. They played with heart and showed just how much they’ve grown as a team. It’s always special to get a win at home. As always, it’s a great day to be a Corbin Redhound!”
