2. Bell County (9-2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Can anyone in Class 4A slow down Daniel Thomas. He continues to be a scoring machine for the Bobcats. Thomas added three more touchdowns this past week and leads the state in rushing yards and points scored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? Fleming County (7-4) pays a visit to Log Mountain Friday which should be another winnable game for Bell County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. North Laurel (6-5)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Jaguars shocked everyone, including me during their 42-28 win over Collins last week. It marks only the second-ever road playoff win for North Laurel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We need to start giving tailback Ethan Gregory some props on the big game he had for the Jaguars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\u2019s consistently rolling up close to 100 yards rushing a game. Gregory had 141 rushing yards and two crucial touchdowns against the Titans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? North Laurel will travel to play unbeaten Southwestern (11-0) Friday with hopes of pulling off the upset. The two teams met earlier in the season with the Warriors winning, 27-13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Williamsburg (7-2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Yellow Jackets had the luxury to heal any injuries last week due to a bye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? Williamsburg will host Hazard (7-4) Saturday but will be underdogs if you go by the RPI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Yellow Jackets will be ready, though. They\u2019ve won five straight games after starting the season with a 3-2 mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Middlesboro (8-3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Yellow Jackets sting Prestonsburg early and never looked back during their 42-30 win over the Black Cats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cayden Grigsby has been dominant of late, and it wasn\u2019t any different last Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He completed 17-of-21 pass attempts for 284 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 58 yards and a score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? Middlesboro will hit the road and face-off against a Shelby (9-2) that has won seven in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. Harlan (8-3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Green Dragons turned in a dominating effort during last week\u2019s 42-7 win over Sayre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jayden Ward continues to dominate, wracking up 216 rushing yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? Now Harlan will face a tough task in the road against Class A\u2019s top-ranked team, Pikeville (8-2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7. Clay County (7-4)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Tigers saw their season come to an end with a disappointing road loss to Wayne County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
