CORBIN \u2014 Four different Corbin players found the back of the net as the Redhounds captured the Kentucky 2A, Section 7 Tournament championship with a 4-0 shutout of Whitley County.
Alex Campos, Eli Skeen, Bentley Hoskins and Hays Steely each scored a goal for Corbin as the Redhounds used a balanced offensive attack to take control of the championship match.
Corbin was effective during the opening half, executing its game plan and capitalizing on its scoring opportunities while keeping the Colonels off the scoreboard.
\u201cHappy with the result today,\u201d Corbin coach Roger Taylor said. \u201cI thought we came out and executed our game plan and were pretty clinical, especially in the first half.
\u201cWe are already seeing a lot of improvement in the way we move the ball,\u201d he added. \u201cHappy to progress in the 2A tournament, but we have a tough week ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
