CORBIN \u2014 It took Corbin only 12 seconds to find the end zone Friday night, and the Redhounds never slowed down from there.
Jake Salmons returned the opening kickoff 55 yards for a touchdown, igniting a 35-point first-quarter explosion as Corbin rolled past Western Hills, Ohio, 38-14.

After Salmons\u2019 kickoff return gave the Redhounds an immediate 7-0 advantage, he struck again midway through the opening quarter. Mason Salmons connected with Jake Salmons on a 13-yard touchdown pass with 6:27 remaining, and the extra point extended Corbin\u2019s lead to 14-0.
The Redhounds needed only 35 seconds to score again.
Trey Person powered into the end zone on a one-yard touchdown run with 5:52 remaining, pushing the advantage to 21-0.
Mason Salmons then showed off his arm, connecting with Andreas Reese on a 50-yard touchdown pass with 3:47 left in the first quarter.
Corbin\u2019s quarterback finished off the remarkable opening period himself, scoring on a two-yard run with 2:01 remaining. The extra point gave the Redhounds a commanding 35-0 lead before the end of the first quarter.
Corbin added to its advantage late in the second when Sebastian Witherington connected on a 32-yard field goal with 1:53 remaining, sending the Redhounds into halftime with a 38-0 lead.
Western Hills finally broke through with a 20-yard touchdown run with 6:26 remaining in the third quarter. The two-point conversion failed, leaving Corbin ahead 38-6.
Western Hills added its final touchdown on a 63-yard run with 1:30 remaining in the game and converted the two-point attempt to produce the final 38-14 margin.
Mason Salmons accounted for three touchdowns, two passing and one rushing, while Jake Salmons scored twice as Corbin used its explosive opening quarter to put the game away early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
