The Lady Panthers improved to 9-16 on the season with the victory and advanced after piling up 15 runs on 12 hits in the five-inning victory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Knox Central broke the game open early, scoring three runs in the first inning before adding five more in the second and six in the fourth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sydney Grubb led the offensive attack, going 3-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI. Blakely Castle added a huge performance in the pitcher\u2019s circle and at the plate, finishing 2-for-4 with three RBI while striking out nine in a complete-game victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gabby Pilarski went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored while Kendall Williamson collected two hits and drove in a run. Abigail Hensley scored three runs and added an RBI while Autumn Bryant and Shelby Smith each drove in runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lady Panthers also got contributions from Emily Jordan, who scored a run, and Bailey Hubbard, who crossed the plate three times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Castle allowed four runs, two earned, on seven hits while walking one and striking out nine over five innings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
