\u201cThe first game we fell behind but once we got the pitcher\u2019s timing down, we were able to scatter several hits,\u201d Hendrix said. \u201cWe had 27 hits total and everyone on the team had a hit Emma and Bailey collected four RBI each. Julie came in relief to win the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe second game Julie was in her groove and was able to throw a perfect game,\u201d she added. \u201cHer defense played well and had no errors and four strikeouts. Everyone reached base and contributed to this win. Bella had four RBI and Julie was also hot at the plate, going 3-for-3 and had three RBI. Both games were a team effort. They played for each other and didn\u2019t quit and were able to walk away with two wins.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Powered by 27 hits, Lynn Camp (8-16) won the first game, 24-13, as seventh grader Reagan Knuckles turned in a career day by going 5-for-5 that included a home run. She also drove in three runs and scored three times. Bella Gambel also came through with a 5-for-5 effort while driving in three runs and scoring three times. Emma Burnette and Bailey Disney both turned in identical four-hit, three-RBI and three- runs scored efforts while Lily Henize had four hits, an RBI, and two runs scored. Lorelai Prewitt delivered three hits and three RBI and scored once while Julie Moore had a hit, two RBI and crossed home plate five times. Alissa Weymers had a hit and two RBI in the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lynn Camp dominated the second game as well with Moore tossing a no-hitter while striking out four batters during the Lady Wildcats\u2019 15-0 win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moore also went 3-for-3 with three RBI, and three runs scored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
