After completing her high school play at North Laurel High School, she continued for two seasons at Union College and finished at the University of Pikeville, where she earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Amy joined the SLHS staff last season and also serves as the head coach for South Laurel Middle School girls\u2019 soccer. She is married with one daughter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFor me, coaching is about more than just the game,\u201d Corum said. \u201cIt\u2019s about building confidence, teaching life lessons, and helping players understand what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
South Laurel athletic director Jep Irwin said Corum made an immediate impact with her knowledge of the sport and dedication to South Laurel\u2019s student athletes last season as an assistant coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
