That was the case Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Panthers (10-6) put together a complete effort swinging the bat, scoring in five different innings on their way to a 12-3 win over West Greene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Knox Central wasted little time getting started, pushing across four runs in the first inning and never letting up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Panthers kept the pressure on from there, adding runs in the second, third, fourth and fifth innings to put the game out of reach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe played a complete game today,\u201d Knox Central coach Mike Bright said. \u201cRussell Mills got the win and was really good for us on the mound. Had all of his pitches working and our defense played well behind him. Every guy in our lineup had a hit and got the big hits when we needed them. Great team win today. Very proud of the way our kids are responding.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Easton Ramsey turned in one of the biggest swings of the game, delivering a home run and finishing with four RBI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hayden Melton added two hits, two runs and an RBI while Johnathan Hobbs chipped in two hits and two runs scored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Noah Gray also delivered with two hits and two RBI, and Matthew Powenski collected a hit and scored three runs. The Marcum chipped in a hit and an RBI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
