KNOXVILLE, Tenn. \u2014 Williamsburg snapped a three-game losing streak on Friday night, defeating the Knoxville Ambassadors 44\u201327 to improve to 3\u20136 on the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lady Yellow Jackets set the tone early, jumping out to a 12\u20132 lead after the first quarter and extending the margin to 24\u201312 by halftime. Williamsburg continued to control the pace in the third quarter, carrying a 32\u201318 advantage into the final period before closing out the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abby Moses led the way for Williamsburg with 23 points, including nine in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Braylee Evans added 14 points, while Bella Jeffries finished with four. Marissa Meadors scored two points and dominated the glass with 10 rebounds. Brielle Evans chipped in a point as the Lady Yellow Jackets showed balanced contributions across the lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williamsburg coach Melissia Douglas was proud of her team\u2019s effort and execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBig win tonight,\u201d she said. \u201cSo proud of our ladies and the way they competed. Abby Moses and Braylee Evans stepped up and knocked down shots, Marissa Meadors was relentless on the boards with 10 rebounds, and Bella Jefferies and Sammie Phipps continue to rise as key contributors.
