BUCKHORN \u2014 Lynn Camp ended 2025 on a high note, defeating Robertson County, 71-66, while improving its record to 5-9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Landen Rose led the way with 27 points and four 3-pointers while Caleb Woods added 15 points, Eisen Mayo scored 13 points, and Conner Mabe finished with nine points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCaleb Woods is really hitting his stride,\u201d Lynn Camp coach Marcus McKeehan said. \u201cHe struggled at the beginning of the season with his shots not falling but he has stayed focused and he\u2019s finding his rhythm.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfter halftime, we came out and made mistakes and didn\u2019t get good looks with our shots,\u201d he added. \u201cWe got comfortable with our lead at half and wanted to settle. They outscored us by eight points in the third.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese kids continue to respond in the face of a challenge and made better decisions during the fourth,\u201d he continued. \u201cThey are learning that every play counts and are really going to have to focus on not getting comfortable and letting off the gas when they get a lead. When we needed a stop at the end of the game, we did what we needed to do and were able to come away with a win.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
