\u201cGreat team effort today by everyone,\u201d Corbin coach Isaac Wilson said. \u201cWe had 12 kids score and everyone contributed in all aspects of the game. Felt that we were the most connected as a team today and that is promising as we have plenty of season left. I would like to see us build off of today\u2019s effort and see where we can be in a few months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnytime you play in a tournament you want to compete and play well and I feel our group did that today,\u201d he added. \u201cWe will have a great challenge in our semifinal game and we look forward to take the floor again on Monday at 3 p.m.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Corbin set the tone early, taking a 12-6 lead after the first quarter as Lynnlee Pietrowski scored four points in the opening period. The Lady Redhounds showed their depth from the start with five different players finding the scoring column in the first eight minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The game broke open in the second quarter as Corbin poured in 22 points to stretch its lead to 34-14 at halftime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Izzy Walker and Lydia King each knocked down a 3-pointer while scoring five points apiece in the period. Aubree Clemens and Kalley Stewart added four points each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Corbin continued to control the game after the halftime, outscoring Providence Christian 20-7 in the third quarter to take a commanding 54-21 lead entering the fourth. Cami Price led the way in the quarter with nine points while King added five and Pietrowski chipped in four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
