3. North Laurel (4-2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Jaguars don\u2019t drop a spot despite losing to Southwestern, 27-13, last week. There isn\u2019t any shame losing to the Warriors. North Laurel was in the game throughout, and just came up short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? Jason Chappell\u2019s squad will now hit the road with a huge road district matchup against Pulaski County. A win over the Maroons would move the Jaguars one step closer to a home playoff game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Pineville (6-0)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Mountain Lions are off to their best start in more than 25 years after cruising past winless Jackson County last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? The Mountain Lions will pay a visit to Mitchell Field and face-off against district foe Lynn Camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Harlan (5-1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Green Dragons make a huge leap and are now at the No. 5 spot after blowing past Phelps last week with a 50-0 win. Harlan is just a couple of points away from being unbeaten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? The Green Dragons will travel to play No. 8 Williamsburg in a huge district showdown,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. Clay County (4-2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Tigers had a chance to get over the hump but dropped a disappointing 56-20 loss to Johnson Central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? Thing don\u2019t get any easier this week with a road district matchup with Letcher Central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
7. Knox Central (4-2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Panthers escaped with a 62-61 against Bourbon County last week behind Steven Partin\u2019s six rushing touchdowns, 316 rushing yards, and one passing touchdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? Knox Central has a tough road district matchup against No. 1 Corbin on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
8. Williamsburg (3-2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Yellow Jackets dropped their second cons cursive game but haven\u2019t won a game in a month. They\u2019ve hung tough in both of their losses but have failed to get over the hump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? The Yellow Jackets will host No. 5 Harlan. We can\u2019t remember the last Williamsburg has went into a district game being an underdog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
9. Middlesboro (4-3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Can the Yellow Jackets get past being shutout last week against Breathitt County? We believe so. This team is dangerous as long as Cayden Grigsby remains healthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who\u2019s next? Middlesboro will host Leslie County on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
10. Harlan County (3-4)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
