The Wildcats controlled the game on both ends of the floor, showcasing balanced scoring, dominant rebounding, and strong defensive pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coach Marcus McKeehan praised his team\u2019s overall performance on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGreat team win and a total team effort today,\u201d he said. \u201cOur kids played with a lot of energy and dominated the boards the entire game. We have focused since the opening game on rebounding and limiting our turnovers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Senior leader Caleb Woods continued to be the engine of the offense, running the team with poise while dishing out five assists and maintaining control of the game\u2019s tempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Conner Mabe came up big once again, posting a 15-point, 15-rebound double-double to help the Wildcats own the glass. His inside presence set the tone from the opening tip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Defensively, Eisen Mayo led the charge with five steals, applying relentless on-ball pressure while also adding four assists and 13 points in a strong all-around performance. Eli Mayo, remains one of the region\u2019s most reliable sixth men, giving Lynn Camp a spark off the bench.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kayden Powers added toughness with eight rebounds, while Landen Rose delivered a standout outing, finishing with 17 points and seven rebounds. DJ Wren also provided valuable minutes with his physicality and defensive presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
McKeehan noted the team\u2019s improvement in key areas since opening night<\/p>\n\n\n\n
