North Laurel\u2019s Haley Combs capped off an impressive season by being named 2025 13th Region Player of the Year. The junior forward was dominant on the field, finishing the season with 20 goals and two assists, helping guide the Lady Jaguars to a 12-5 overall record and a perfect 8-0 mark against regional opponents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Combs was a consistent offensive threat throughout the season and played a key role in North Laurel\u2019s championship run, which included both the 49th District and 13th Region titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
South Laurel\u2019s Shelby Gambrel was recognized as the 2025 13th Region Goalkeeper of the Year after turning in a stellar season between the posts. The senior goalkeeper recorded 168 saves, averaging an impressive 12.9 per match, while allowing just 2.2 goals per game and notching one shutout. Her steady play anchored the Lady Cardinals\u2019 defense all year long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
