The victory also pushed the Redhounds\u2019 to 26-0 over the Colonels, who fell to 1-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Corbin wasted no time setting the tone early, scoring on a 2-yard run by Cole Stevens just 1:20 into the game. Mason Salmons then connected with Clay Akins on a 2-yard touchdown pass to make it 14-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stevens added his second rushing touchdown of the night, a 9-yard score followed by a successful two-point conversion, extending the lead to 22-0 after one quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Redhounds continued to pile on in the second quarter. Cam Estep scored on a 9-yard run before hauling in a 31-yard touchdown pass from Salmons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zach Thomas capped off the first-half barrage with a 31-yard touchdown catch as time expired, sending Corbin into halftime with a commanding 43-0 lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Corbin added one more score in the third quarter on a 20-yard touchdown run by Trey Person, pushing the advantage to 49-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whitley County avoided the shutout late in the game when Dee Parker found the end zone on an 8-yard run with 2:15 remaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Corbin dominated from start to finish, using a balanced offensive attack and a stifling defense to remain unbeaten in district play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
