The win improved South Laurel to 11-17, while North Laurel dropped to 6-12 on the season. It also marked the second time this year the Lady Cardinals have topped the Lady Jaguars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis was a big match for us with tonight not only being a crosstown rival game, but also senior night, and it was really special seeing the team rallying together for our four awesome seniors,\u201d South Laurel coach Shelley Nunley said. \u201cAfter a tense first set, we settled in and came out strong going into the second, and played some really aggressive, purposeful volleyball for the rest of the game. Everyone did their part, and our underclassmen showed up in big ways to support their seniors and make the night even more memorable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
