LONDON \u2014 The Williamsburg Lady Yellow Jackets battled back to defeat South Laurel in a five-set showdown Thursday night, 25-17, 21-25, 19-25, 25-16, 15-13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the victory, Williamsburg improved to 14-12 on the season while the Lady Cardinals slipped to 6-14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lady Yellow Jackets coach Dirk Berta praised his team\u2019s fight and resiliency in the come-from-behind win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe had a tremendous effort from all players on our team tonight,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m very proud of the way that we continue to \u2018Pull The Rope\u2019 and pull it together every game, every set, and every point. The girls believed in themselves and in each other the entire match, even when we lost the second and third set. I\u2019ll continue to say it, I love this team and the way we all pull together. As always, Go Jackets.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
