\u201cWe played well tonight,\u201d Corbin coach Hannah Goins said. \u201cWe came out a little slow at first but once we scored our first goal we gained some confidence and looked much better the remainder of the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m proud of our team for not getting down and being able to regroup and finish the game strong,\u201d she added. \u201cWe played a great game once we got going. It was our senior night and our seniors really stepped up and played hard. They helped keep our confidence up and I\u2019m proud of the work they\u2019ve put in this season.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lady Redhounds (6-9) were led by Hadley Elmore, who recorded a hat trick in the first half to fuel a fast start. Mary Simons also added a goal, giving Corbin a commanding 4-0 advantage before Bell County broke through with a goal just before halftime to make it 4-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the second half, Corbin\u2019s balanced attack put the game out of reach. Sophie Cima, Madison Hippert, and Kayden Hamilton each found the back of the net to extend the lead and seal the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
