The Colonels record is now 6-3-1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBrody Moses scored off a corner in the 18th minute to tie the game,\u201d Whitley County coach Michael Branham said. \u201cRizzo Cima buried a PK with five minutes in the half. We went into halftime down 3-2 and Pulaski was on a red card at that point. It was back and forth from there, Rizzo Cima found Bryson Mahan to tie it. Every time they scored we found a way to tie it back up. A red card late in the game put us at 10 men for the rest of the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe battled it out from there and I think we played with heart tonight that we haven\u2019t seen since the Corbin game,\u201d he added. \u201cI hope to continue this level of play through the rest of the season. \u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First Half<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pulaski County struck first at the 25:36 mark to take a 1-0 lead. Whitley County quickly answered when the Maroons surrendered an own goal at 18:40 to tie things at 1-1. Karen Anderson put Pulaski back in front, 2-1, with 11:03 left in the half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Colonels evened the match at 2-2 when Rizzo Cima converted a penalty kick with 5:22 remaining. Pulaski County responded before the break, scoring off a corner kick with 2:41 left to carry a 3-2 lead into halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Second Half<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bryson Mahan knotted the score at 3-3 with 28:23 left, finishing off an assist from Cima. Pulaski regained the lead at the 17:24 mark, but Mahan answered again less than two minutes later off another setup from Cima, tying the game at 4-4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Maroons once again surged ahead, scoring with 14:58 to play, but Mahan delivered his third goal of the half at the 11:34 mark to make it 5-5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
